This past Saturday night happened a John Bonham tribute concert hosted at the Key Club on the Sunset Strip. On stage for one night only, a rotating cast of guest drummers performed their favorite LED ZEPPELIN songs. Performers included Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Fred Coury (Cinderella), Bobby Blotzer (RATT), Vinny Appice (Heaven and Hell), singer/sonwriter Zoe Bonham, Simon Wright (Dio, AC/DC), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Steven Adler (original Guns ‘N Roses drummer), Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty), Chris Slade (AC/DC, The Firm), and many more! The evening closed with John’s son, Jason Bonham, playing in honor of his father. It was a drummer’s paradise!
